Apple Lime Salsa
Category Apples
Special story or information about your recipe: This salsa is very good with pork or grilled chicken. I use Granny Smith, but you can use any apple which is not red, like Golden Delicious, or Ginger Gold
Measurements and ingredients: 2 Granny Smith apples, cored and finely diced, 1 poblano pepper, seeded and finely diced, 1 red bell pepper, seeded and finely diced, 1 medium yellow tomato, seeded and chopped, zest of one lime, juice of two limes, dash hot pepper sauce, 1 teaspoon chili powder, ¼ teaspoon salt.
Instructions: Combine all ingredients in small bowl. Cover and refrigerate for at least two hours to blend flavors. Remove from refrigerator about one-half hour before serving. Good with chicken or pork.
Serves how many: 4-6
