TLD Farm to School
Farm To School
TLD Farm to School offers valuable information for a range of people working to present fresh, healthy local food to kids and build the area farm economy by developing new markets for farms and greater understanding of where our food comes from. TLD Farm to School offers the following:

  1. Detailed directories of farms and their products, both for cafeteria use or for school fundraisers.
  2. Lists of food service directors interested in buying local food and information about their purchasing needs.
  3. Information for parent groups, faculty and others on linking local food to the classroom, such as lists of farms available for field trips and class visits.
  4. Resources for kitchen staff, administrators, and others interested in increasing the presence of local food and farms in schools, whether in the cafeteria, in the curriculum, or through a school fundraiser.

Get Farming!This free site is the place to be if you are seeking land for your own new farm, growers to work your fallow land, or a buyer for your operation. Over time this Web site will grow to include information on farm related grant oppotunities, agricultural legislation, educational workshops, financial planning, and more.
